The Learning Design Workshop introduces participants to a novel approach for designing learning experiences, in particular addressing some of the typical processes of Instructional and Curriculum Design such as the design of learning objectives and assessment strategies.
The workshop is based on a set of collaborative virtual boards and card decks that facilitate creative and playful collaboration and discussion between educators. The Learning Design Workshop is aimed at fostering collaboration and co-creation practices between designers, educators from any discipline, and anyone tasked with designing educational content or programs, ranging from workshops, seminars to entire classes in school or university, in the tradition of collaborative instructional and learning design workshops.
The workshop can be held both in a face-to-face and virtual configuration. The workshop usually takes 120 minutes including theoretical introduction, practical exercises and discussion. Custom and more in-depth workshops tailored to specific needs can be offered as full day or multi-day interventions as well.

The Learning Design Tools can also be used in blended or remote scenarios and have been designed in full consideration of virtual collaboration. In these situations, the Learning Objective Design Board empowers the process to be held within a digital canvas on virtual whiteboard solutions. It not only allows to engage in the process of collaborative learning objective and assessment strategy design, the created artifacts and constructed statements can also be stored, printed or shared with others.
