The Card Deck
The Brand Design Deck is an educational conversational tool designed to foster deep, meaningful conversations between colleagues, friends, and strangers with the purpose of facilitating the ideation of relevant aspects of brand identity through a visual mood board. The deck contains a series of visual element cards and unique parameter cards that nurture an intentional design process and help everyone have a conversation around the topic.

How IT works
Visual Element Cards
The visual elements of brand identity are not limited to the logo or an icon, but concern other graphic features that are associated with it, such as color, shape, stroke, line, pattern, and typeface. These are the features that first tend to attract users and customers. Taking into consideration the basic principles of design as well as of brand anatomy, the visual cards are designed to allow users to determine the message they want to convey, with the goal of facilitating branding ideation. Each card contains a noun or adjective or a verb and it will help you to brainstorm the thinking process.
Unique Parameter Cards
In order to support the visual communication system, it is important to identify some parameters that will make the brand unique. These parameters highlight why and how a brand does what it promises. With the unique parameters cards, you can start to establish the character, the value, the vision, and the personality as well as identify the strategy behind the name and the tagline.
